NYC Video Auditions is owned and operated by Paul Garafola, a freelance editor and photographer currently based in Manhattan. Paul started out as a musician, playing the drums since he was 9 years old; then studied and worked as an actor, gradually developing more of an interest in being behind the camera. 

He started taping actors’ auditions in 2011 and as the industry called for more online submissions, he launched NYC Video Auditions in June 2015. Since then, his small home studio has become many professional actors’ favorite taping spot in Manhattan.

Paul’s love of the craft of acting & filmmaking - and his experience as an actor, editor and camera operator - all provide him with a unique & intuitive skill set that helps bring consistent results to his clients who regularly book roles in film, TV, theatre and streaming platforms.
